Just for fun...the ones that got away.

Thought I would post a couple pics of the trucks that got away. The first pic is a '86 GMC that was the first truck I ever owned around 1991. I was going to college, working part time at a liquor store and had to sell because I could not afford gas. LOL! Probably $2 a gallon at the time. The second is a '97 I had for a few years that I still miss but had to sell when I had my kids. There were a a few S-10's in between them over the years, but I'm glad I finally figured out what year trucks I really enjoy. Final pic is my pride and joy that I have every intention of hanging on to for years to come.

Re: Just for fun...the ones that got away.

I bought this, then realized how much it would take to turn it into a daily driver. So I sold it and bought my 93. I love my 93, but I would love to have another one of these one day.

72 Cheyenne, factory black on black, big block, loaded with just about everything but a tach. Spent most of its life in Texas, currently being restored (I hope) by a truck driver in Indiana.
