I'm interested if this is correct for a Chevy 70cst gate. Let me know.
Thanks

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

I can snap a pic of it but it's the same as the top...just one complete piece. I have it wrapped to protect it from scratches. SOme of the original package is still around it but it was opened....

looks nice...

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

Ok...need some help? Would this trim piece be used a a tailgate of a 70cst? I know the gate has a wide Chevrolet band but not sure if it has a lower band also.
Thanks

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

If you don't have the large black or woodgrain emblem that says "CHEVROLET" then I think so. I don't think that 67-68's have these lower pieces but someone else might know that exact details of your year.

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

Here is a post where they talk about it... looks like the lower molding doesn't go with the tailgate band, but the first pic has one with it.... I guess it's one or the other with the upper trim and taillight trim.

ttt.

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

pics added, there is some residue on it from the GM packaging. It comes right off with a little never-dull. Will ship in heavy tube to prevent bending.

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

I am interested. Any ideas on where to buy the clips? How many clips are needed? $50 shipped?

Re: FS - NOS lower tailgate molding - Central PA

send me your zip for a shipping quote then i'll see about the price. These are $25 reproduced so NOS is usually worth double in my book.

My tailgate has 8 holes for the clips. Any vendor should have them for 50 cents each. You need the "push-in" type.
