Do you guys see your truck like I see mine?
I can't put my finger on it, but I just love the body lines on these old trucks. They look, well almost sexy!

SEXY!!??!!...........well hell yea. the way the rear bottom of the bed rolls under just right, and the way a nice roll pan accentuates it, the perfect profile on the roof line, the 67-68 sloped hood gives it motion while sitting still, no unneccessary body lines or creases. the only thing that i'm gonna change on mine is the tailgate, because i like a smooth tailgate. truthfully, aside from the 67-72's, chevrolet only came close once imho and that would be the 88-98 body style. i truely "dig" (does that word make me sound old) the 47 to early 54's but they are from a different era and way of styling a truck.
:p

Best looking trucks on the planet! After the 67-72's, they should have just given up. Can't get any better than these.

I shaved the trim off of mine, and I think it really smooths it up and you can see the lines of the body. The molding kinda hides the lines (kinda like clothes).

Use it as a work vehicke then you can claim it, but only for 5 years.
But that kinda takes you a couple steps back in the working restoration huh? |

I think of my truck as a extension of myself. I put my money and sweat and tears into it and made it the way I WANT IT! I love my truck it is so sexy in black and the reaction of people when it cruises by makes it all worth it. Ever drive down the street and look at the reflection of your ride in the windows of the stores. SCHWING!
