Drop spindles

Do they make drop spindles that will work with the stock drum brakes on a 67 C10?

Re: Drop spindles

Drop spindles do = disc brakes. I have seen people modify their control arms to acheive a drop but the best way is to get shorter springs to lower a truck with front drums.

Well the best way would be to convert it to disc. And using drop spindles would be a good start. Then you just buy new rotors, bearings, a loaded caliper, and new prop valve. You can get all that for both sides for around 100 bucks. And a good set of drop spindles are around 200-250.

Re: Drop spindles

I've seen dropped drum brake control arms. There used to be a local guy making these.

Re: Drop spindles

I just bought new rotors, loaded calipers, pads, bearings, and seals for my 71' from PDQ(advanced) for like 108 and change. I also bought a master as well and that was around 16 bucks.
