How about a pic? There are all steel mounts that have no rubber bushings. They are mostly for racing and I think this is what you have currently.

Pics would help and what are you putting it in? If it is the "Clam Shell" mount which is 72 only, you can use the 73 up frame mount with a little hole massaging. If they are the aftermarket steel racing mounts, they won't work.

going in a 68 2wd. the mounts on it are either off the 69 caprice it originally came from or the mid 70's truck it was in pictures will come this weekend

Re: What do I need to complete my big block motor mounts
You will need to decide if you want to use 68-71 big block frame towers, or 72 style. Both will work, but the 72's are the most expencive to buy, easiest to use and least expencive to maintane once you have them. WES

Re: What do I need to complete my big block motor mounts
Mid 70's mounts can be used, but you will have to modify the chassis for them. Would be the easiest mounts to find and cheapest rout to go though. Just not correct era. If that doesn't bother you, then that is what you should do. I haven't used them personaly, because I like using stuff that would have been original if the truck had it originaly. Easier to remember what you are buying parts for that way. WES
