I just scrolled down real fast, and I noticed 4 were moved, along with one of mine.

How come they were moved? I don't go into General Discussion enough to post there. As I don't know anyone over there.

I liked having to chit-chat in here.

I'm thinking we've offended someone out there in the higher up category. Or, is this pay back for something which recently was said? Or, and this is the last or, they just now seen the posts in questions and decided it was a good time to move them.

As I said, it would be nice to know who moved them. A ghost I guess.

Mike, I also would like to know who and why.

I'm not mad over this, but most of the chit-chat that we have in here is inside joke stuff. Or only things we would like to share with the fellows we know. And I hate to see it moved.

I moved them to the correct forum that they should have been posted on. You can still click on them, it will take you to the post on the forum they were moved to.

Only reason so many were moved today is that I haven't been checking the forums as much since I moved.

Please post in the correct forums. It helps cut down the clutter for those that come for truck info. on the message boards, or parts/trucks for sale on the parts boards.

It's no big deal, really. I've just been slackin off.

Like Paul said....we are a group that has many inside jokes and lots of knowledge of each other.....General discussion just makes it seem so broad and open.

Who are you? I don't see you listed as a mod of any forums. How many mods does this forum have anyway?

I would prefer to know who I'm dealing with. It sure would make things a little easier to understand.

I'm not named to any specific forum because I help on all the forums.

It's really no big deal with the posts being moved. We just try to keep the off topic stuff in general so people that just want to find truck info don't have to sift through the off topic stuff.
They are truck message boards.

Not sure if it is feasible to have a separate board. I will be sure to mention it to Josh though.

In my opninion this board is very special due to the (very funny) chit chat.
It gives you the "one big family" feel.

What does our mod (race devil) thinks about it??

wow........I hope you guys don't mean all this like it sounds. We have a 69 and a 77 so we frequent a few of the forums. Gen discussion , I thought was a forum for all of us . If I am wrong I appologize ahead of time , but it sounds as if you want only certain people being involved in your discussions. Thats to bad, I may not post alot here but I was enjoying the information and posts over here thus far........................

For what reason would you want your own personal General forum? The General Discussion forum we have now, is enough for everyone. It's not listed to be used by only one specific group of users. I'll back up Les on what he did. Posts were moved, because they were posted in the wrong forum. I'm sorry if that's an inconvenience, but that's an unwritten rule of this, and most other bulletin board sites. We (the Administrators and Moderators) do our best, to keep this site enjoyable for everyone involved.

Please use a little common sense when posting messages. That is not meant as a slam to anyone, it simply makes the forums more user-friendly. I will state now, I'm moving this post to the general discussion board, and I will leave a redirect in the previous forum.

Now let's all get back to what brought us here in the first place...... and trucks!

Thanks,

TJ

Am I wrong in thinking it's mighty strange that these posts suddenly started getting moved to the so called, correct forums??

If what I'm thinking is right, maybe I misjudged some things.

By all means, not trying to start anything here, but I'm not feeling as welcome as I once did.

I have a canny ability of reading between the lines. I don't have to be hit over the head to understand. At least not all the time anyway.

If what I am thinking is totally off base, sorry for even bringing it up.

Maybe us 73-87 (73-91 K5, Burb) guys need to explore starting our own forum where we can all feel at home and not worry about offending 'the man'?

I only wanted to say, I was off base, like in center field. I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong.

Let's get back to talking trucks. This other stuff is BS.
