To chrome or not to chrome
I just picked up a short frame and cab assy. The "new cab" has the chrome trim around the front and back glass,my 67 doesnt.I will be replacing all the seals anyway so should I go chrome or leave it black?I like the look of both.I am going to paint it a mid 70s med blue metallic that I saw on a customers vette.

Re: To chrome or not to chrome
I like the trim but it sure is a hard peice to install after changing the windsheild. Have plenty of help when and if you do keep it.

Re: To chrome or not to chrome
Alot depends on the rest of the truck. Is there other factory trim/mouldings?If yes, then I`d do the trim. Will it be a clean job,as in sanitary?I mean will it be all smooth and sleek? If so,than no trim. How much chrome goes on the truck?
I was going with no trim on glass for a cleaner smoother look. But,since I want to use the `67 GMC Custom fender badges it wouldn`t be right w/o side moulding. With side moulding it should have glass trim.So...mine will have all the Custom trim.

Re: To chrome or not to chrome
the trim is stainless not chrome i like the trim on an optioned truck with full trim package but a solid color no side or belt trim i'd go without// i've never had much trouble installint the trim in the gasket the few i've installed went in pretty simple
