Question about th400's
Are 2wd and 4wd versions the same? I know you have to change the output shaft on 700r4's but I am not sure about 400's. Thank you

same chainges need made to a TH350, or TH400 as you would to any other GM tranny. Remove the tail shaft, the output shaft and replace with 4X4 parts.

On the short th400 all i did was remove the extension housing and it bolted right up to the adapter. No output shaft change.
