Re: aftermarket step side fender 68-72 how nice
I can`t say, personally. But,I have some factory ones that may be workable with your skills.I`ve talking to John about coming down.I can`t believe he didn`t let me know when he came down the last time.I was working on his next door neighbor`s house Nov/Dec last year and told him I wanted (needed) to get over to Massey.
The ones I have are still mounted so can`t speak for the flanges. But,they are virtually dentless and in factory paint. There is rust along the lower front above the runningboard. Sorry for the hijack.I`d like to hear how the repros are, too.

I've looked them over at Charlotte a couple of times. They *appear* to be well made AND they actually have some weight to them. I would consider buying a set if it wasn't for the price, last I checked they were still around $400 EACH

Used a goodmark one on the 68 shorty. excellently made and fits very well. Be careful to check as soon as you get it as shipping seems to damage quite a few.

Re: aftermarket step side fender 68-72 how nice
I used on I purchased from Kenny's out of OK. It was metal and the fit was excellent. Gave a great price... was well under $400 for what he called a "blem". Keep in mind my truck is a regular driver but the only reall difference I could see was that it was scuffed on top. Otherwise, the fit was excellent.

Dilling, I build my entire stepside bed from reproduction parts. I have owned two other original stepsides. I think the repros looked and fit great. There is pic on this old post: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...94#post1721494
