Throttle Cable/Return Spring setups

What kind of throttle cable/linkage is everyone running? What about a return spring?

I'm tired of mine trying to hang up all the time!

Re: Throttle Cable/Return Spring setups

I used the original pedal, and just made a new rod out of aluminum. Tapped one side and L shaped the other end.

For the return spring, I actually drilled a tiny hole in the protruding pipe plug and hooked the spring there.....

Re: Throttle Cable/Return Spring setups

See the little tab on the thermostat housing? That is were the return spring for the throttle goes from the factory. There was also a little L shaped bracket that you could bolt on the housing. Lots of clean ways to do it, mostly depends on spring length and your accessories.

Re: Throttle Cable/Return Spring setups

I dont have a good pic, but I used all Lokar stuff (Kickdown, throttle peddle, bracket with springs, and Throttle cable).
