laying frame
i have a 85 gmc and was wondering if the body would hit the ground before the frame i was looking under the truck and it looked to me that that would happen but not sure so i thought this would be the place to ask. thanks

no, but the gas tanks wiil!!!! I believe the frame and body are even. Another problem you'll have is the front crossmember.......

Your first point of contact is pictured below. You have to eliminate that issue before you can go any lower.

once you get the front crossmember out of the way, and all the other junk, the frame itself is still about an inch lower than the rockers.
