What's behind your seat??

Fold up that seat back and snap a pic or two. What have you got back there? Speaker boxes and amps? Toolbox? Muddy boots? A year's worth of fast food wrappers?

Here is mine as of this afternoon. Just the stock 4x10 speaker brackets with the factory speakers still in them.

I will be working on putting some 6.5" component speakers in these brackets tomorrow.

And there is still plenty of room left for an 8" Bazooka tube..... and a 10lbs nitrous bottle.

Okay, now let's see what you've got.

Pioneer 4way's 6X9s in the corners with a custom box, Pioneer 10" sub and a Fast and Furious 250watt amp.

Will be doing a complete facelift on the interior after December (gotta pay for a wedding first)

In my '73 I have 2 seats, not one.

In my Subruban, I have two more seats behind my seat.

Re: What's behind your seat??

Bunch of wise guys here! No time at all... I'm just that SICK!

How's that? I'm actually looking at replacing it with some nice buckets or one of those bench on the bottom and individual backed seats.. don't know which. Need to hit the yard and see what's there.

Re: What's behind your seat??

I have a fire extinguisher, spare air, diesel and oil filters, spare u-joints, a tent, change of clothes and a jacket, water and some energy bars behind the seat of my 86 bogger.

96 has a fire extinguisher, spare tire jack + tire wrenches, a jacket and some munchies

80 only has a fire extinguisher at the moment.

It's a little dirty, but it's also been parked for 2yrs or so now. Once I get it back into running condition, I'm probably doing away with the box. I don't enjoy the feeling of hot windshield glass against my forehead.

Re: What's behind your seat??

I have a cab length locking tool box behind the seat of my 78 shortbed. It's been there a long time. I think I got it from J.C. Whitney. I have a fire extinguisher, 10-ton bottle jack, tools, first aid kit, canteen, folding shovel, and personal grooming items, in the event the ol' lady kicks me out and I have to sleep in my truck. It will also hold a police pump shotgun, depending on the neighborhood I'm driving through.

Re: What's behind your seat??

I had some 6x9 rear corner speaker mounts in an '83 I wrecked almost twenty years ago. They were similar to the photo above. Anyone know where to find some now?
