Rear quarter removal and Firewall rust repair

Does anyboby have advice and/or pictures of either removing the rear quarters to access bed for replacement or rust repairs on the firewall in the channel where the wiring runs across just in front of the cowl?

I've got nothing for firewall repair pics but here's a couple of a quarter removal.

What exactly are you looking/needing to do?

Thanks those pictures comfirm that the quarters come off. I know that there are areas that are bolted on, are there places that were welded? Where are they and how hard is it to cut them. My bed floor is rusted mostly at the rear seat mounts but there is a bed place where the wheel well, quarter and bed are jointed. I fiquire that the best way to address this is to remove the quarter.

As far as the firewall, I have a few places that are showing rust. One area of concren is hard to get to is the metal just above the fuse block. I cannot get to it but from inside the tub. I was thinking about cutting the sheet located above it for access. I was wondering if anybody had done this. The other area is channel that runs across the firewall. The area of rust is located just above the evaporator box. It is a complex area that is covered some type of sealant. I want to cut some out and replace it.

Did you replace your bed floor? I have found one place that sells the floor-Tabco. Are there more out there?

Are you sure it's a BLAZER/JIMMY floor and not a SWB floor?

I could not find the Blazer bed floor on their web site tonight so it was likey a swb bed. Sorry. I guess no one makes anything other than the small patch panels.

I can show you pix of my un-repaired firewall and tell you that the firewall panel is available from several aftermarket folks.

In my case, my only easily-done (??!!!) option is to cut the windshield posts and across the floor of the truck cab, between the front cab bolts and the seat hump, and replace it. When you see the pix, you'll understand. Apparently, my resize, which worked before, can't be uploaded. Trust me, it's not good.

BTW, I found a good firewall from another member who agreed to sell it to me for $20.
