Trading my nova for this!
Looks like I'm trading my nova for this. roof has been replaced, but I'm trading for the suspension and 12 bolt posi. Did I get the $1800-$2000 I was asking for my nova? I'm a 4x4 LWB kind of guy, so this should be different. Guy is hauling it to me and taking mine, so I have nothing to do.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
You did alright. I would have bought it for 1800, rear disk posi set up, full length track bar, bagged and what looks like a really decent bed.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
look slike some rot at top front of bed but yeah, very good bed. I will know better onc eI get a good look at how the roof was done and what the underside of the cab look like, but may dump the cab and get a better one. unlike my 4x4 that I need to start driving, I have no timeline for this, so I'll take it easy and let good parts come to me.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
I'm guessing this is his Nova, found on the same page as the truck pictures.
http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...47301034UESReT I just acquired a 1969 Nova, putting my '72 C-10 on the back burner. I myself would have kept the Nova, but it's your business. Best of luck with your new purchase.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
If that is the nova! I would not trade it even I think at the longhorn the nova will be worth more than the truck and it would be alot easier to sell.
just my 02!!!

Re: Trading my nova for this!
hang on now, that's the OTHER nova of the guy that is trading for mine. Here is my nova; 70 roller. No interior, 10 bolt. And I was ASKING 1800-2000, but that's not what I ahve in it. . . plus I have lots of spare truck parts to put the SWB together. As I said I was buying the suspension.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
That's a good trade... You'll have to start a new build thread!.. But that means you'll have to start hanging around with the bagged crowd.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
No keep the Nova, Odds are you can find an other truck But you already own the Nova, its a bird in the hand thing ,save and buy a truck at a latter date with out all the rust. The Nova doesn't look like it has any where near the rust problem the truck has.

Re: Trading my nova for this!
As far as the truck rust is concerned, I was planning a different cab. I'm really just trading for the completed suspension. Hte Nova is also stripped and I've decided I'd rather have a street car, so buying all the interior, plus full suspension alone doesn't justify this car. Plus, it's a trade up for me, and I'll eventually sell the SWB to fun the 70-73 camaro I've always wanted. Plus, I'm getting good at rust repair in these trucks . . .
Oh, and I'm keeping the ford 9", vortec heads and turbo I had acquired for the nova . . .
