head light relay mod

Hey Guy's I'm doing the headlight relay mod and I can't find any info on what to do with the 5th prong. All the write up's I can find is about four prong relays. Thanks In Advance

Usually the NC (Normally closed) side of the relay. Circuit opens when relay is energized. I cant see why it would be used.

you dont need the 5th prong. Those relays typically work like:

30 - constant power from battery
85 - ground
86 - trigger wire
87 - power wire to accessory when trigger wire is +
87a - power wire to accessory when trigger wire is -
