New here...with a new project

Bought this truck off a 14 year old kid who sold it for a girlfriend. One day he will learn his mistake

Anyways, the project is a 69 C10 Short Step. It is my first Chevy to work on...been working on Mustangs for years. The frame was stripped and powdercoated, new suspension and brakes. I wasnt planning on stripping the body down to the metal...but I have more time than money right now, so why not. Here is how it sits right now:

Shaving the firewall...went with someones suggestion of just cutting off the channel

Picking up another 69 this weekend for the front fender Might be parting the rest out (just a shell really). My neighbor was wanting the frame and possibly the bed...who knows. Knowing my luck, it will be the next project.

hmmmm, I could round up a frame and parts... where do you go to trade the spare parts for a girlfriend? Is it a straight across swap?

Hmmm, quite a trade. Lets see, a truck that will need money spent on it to make YOU happy or a girl that will need money spent on her to make HER happy? Ill have to think on that one for a while. Ok Im done thinking. I would have kept the truck...

Oops, forgot...Good score & welcome to the site!
