sway bar

are van bars the same as truck?
got a 78 van with nice fat sway bar on the front of it are the brackets the same for a van or do I need truck mounts?

I'd run it. As long as the sway bar fits in within a broken yard stick and after you're done the bushings are all snug its going to do its job. Be prepared to weld the clips onto the frame wherever the sway bar crosses it and don't try really hard to get it match the bolt holes.
