Re: New here....first post

Thank for the wecome...It has a 6" lift ...the tires in the picture are 36" tsl's..but I just sold them. I found a set of the camper special wheels (8.25 x 16.5 x 8 lug) I like the look of the painted steel wheels w/trim..and I think I can get 12" tire on those rims.. Its got a mild 350..sm465 4spd..and the belts came with the truck, and they are the old buckle style, I just had to put them in.

Re: New here....first post

Waaawick, huh? My middle daughter lives in Warwick. Oh, welcome to the board from the Heart of Arkansas!

The pic of you and your son is nice. The "patina" on the edges of the doors is just like mine....right where your arm lays when the window is down.

There's another board member in Warwick, too. He has an El Camino, as well as his '70 (I believe) and recently sold a Model A. Seems like he works at the Naval War College, at Newport.

Your neighborhood looks similar to the kids, near TFGreene. My brain won't let me recall the main drag that runs through town unless someone jogs my memory.

Good luck on your project.
