Wiring my wiper motor

Tring to get all the little stuff working again. When I bought the truck it came with no wires plugged into the wiper motor and no switch. I got a new switch now I need to figure out how to wire it to the motor. I know from looking at a wiring diagram 12 volts goes to the motor and the switch grounds it just don't know what terminals are what. Thanks for any help.

I hope someone chimes in because Im having the same problem and I dont have a manual.

from what I've learned from just connecting wires. The center terminal on the switch is for the washer.

I had to buy a painless wiper switch and I have figured out what does what on it. Problem is the harness doesn't match. Which wire on the harness is the power. Any help would be awesome. I looked at the wiring diagram, didn't help me much. Thanks yall

The wiper motor is on the upper left and the power feed wire is the one that connects it to the fuse panel on the lower right. It is yellow on the stock harness. HTH.

I appreciate your help but that just confused me more lol. This is the switch i bought. It has several terminals on it that I don't use my truck has 2 speed wiper, no washer. I just need to know which wire to hook to which terminal.

Well we can't have confusion. What you need to do is figure out what the common terminal is on the switch and then just wire that to the dash or any good ground. Then you just wire the other terminals to the wiper motor terminals corresponding to the high and low speeds. The primary thing to keep in mind is that there are no positive wires in the equation. IOW all the wires are ground wires and the switch only connects them to ground.
To find the common terminal you need a voltmeter or test light.Put the voltmeter on ohms and hook one of the leads to the switch body and then touch each terminal with the other lead until the needle moves. If the switch is internal grounded then the terminal that moves the needle is the common one that will connect all the others to ground and make the motor operate.
Sometimes the manufacturer will mark the common terminal some way to identify it, such as a C at the base or P for primary or some other designator. The other terminals may be marked as well like L for low and H for high. If you're lucky yours will be marked.
Go and read the website I posted above and see if you can work off that and if not then come back and we'll continue to troubleshoot. Use the diagram above as well and that should guide you some. Good luck. BTW make sure the wiper motor is grounded to the dash.

I've found a solution to my problem. Buy an original wiper switch called a few salvage yards today and I'm going to get one in the morning. Thanks for all your help man.
