Rear control Arm SWB / LWB question

I have a 69 LWB and just bought a 69/70 SWB for the cab. the guy threw the short bed and frame in for free... it was to good to pass up. and by looks it seems as if the Rear Control arms on the SWB look better then the ones on my LWB do. are they the same length. In LMC they only offer one length control arm. so i guess my question is, bo both the LWB and the SWB use the same control arm?

Thnaks guys for all your help

Re: Rear control Arm SWB / LWB question

For that matter, I have always Heard that you can put a SWB bed on a LWB truck all you had to do is just cut the frame is that as in cut the end of the frame off? or cut some frame out in the middle?

Re: Rear control Arm SWB / LWB question

Trailing arms are the same.

You cut from the middle and weld together to make a lwb a swb, but if you have the swb frame I would use it.

Re: Rear control Arm SWB / LWB question

Yup, arms are the same.

To cut a LWB frame to a SWB frame means taking 12" out of the middle, 8" off the back.
