I keep telling her that they are not extra parts

Guys, I need some advice here. After parting out three trucks, i have a lot of parts lying around the house/garage. My other half, (being polite) says to get rid of them if I am not going to use them. Any suggestions?

Put them on the lawn and use them to irritate your neighbors

I had the same problem. Just list them for super high prices so nobody pays for them, but you're technically still trying to sell them. Appeases them for a while. When the don't sell, tell her it's better to keep them anyways.

x2 For the $25 Site Supporter fee it will open all sorts of opportunities for you. To sale w/o being a Site Supporter is a no no...besides you will look much better in Blue than pink.

If I list them for super high prices, then everyone on here will start a new thread about me and make fun of me. (again)

harlyworkr:

I think your significant other gave you the green light to start another project...what better way to put some good parts to use?

I am not sure what part of KCK you live in, but my shop is on Kansas Avenue and most lawns in the area are covered with a lot worse than leaves.

Keep us posted of your progress with keeping your lady happy.

PS...a great way to move the parts is to become a supporting member, post and sell what you don't need and buy your honey a nice big Christmas present.

No we won't, we'll make fun of you in that thread, no need to start a new one

LILRED66, that's a good idea! I already have a complete/running truck and enough stuff for at least 2/3's of a truck!

I think it was Kevin Harvick who said “Why don’t you get another girlfriend”.

Re: I keep telling here that are not extra parts

Here's a few options off the top of my head,

a) Paint a bedroom whatever color she likes and hope she wont mind anymore
b)make a clock from a flywheel with your(her and you) picture in the center and hope she wont mind anymore
c)buy another truck and put the parts to use and hope she wont mind anymore
d)sell the parts and dont tell her how much you really made and hope she wont mind anymore
e)build a shed so she cant see the parts anymore and hope she wont mind anymore
f) all of the above

You can get rid of 1 of 2 things:

1.) the Better Half
2.) the spare parts

put it on the neighbor's lawn and call the cops. LOL
