Re: Coolers for the garage
I keep a small refrigerator at my out of town property for just that purpose. Holds about 1 case of beverages. I had two fridges, but one of them gave out just the other day.
It's nice to have the beverages handy when working on your truck. Especially during the summer. But, I agree with cdowns. If you get one, it be wise to spray paint the glass or cover it, otherwise you'll have a lot of buddies come over. |

Wow, if you weren't so far away one of those would look great in the basement for the homebrews!

Re: Coolers for the garage
these things are comercial coolers they stay around 30 degrees so you can keep just about any thing in there but i agree with yall i wouldnt want to advertise but one solution is put a sign up-1.25$ a beer or i could jusst place a pepsi sticker over the glass and it will just glow pepsi and cant see through

Re: Coolers for the garage
I have a '55 Vendo V39F Coke machine....that can be converted to accept long neck bottles....too bad I don't partake of them at a rate that makes the $300 aftermarket part worthwhile. But, with the front being basically steel, nobody could see what was in it. However, the 10-cent price tag to operate the dispenser makes it a losing propostion....unless I can deal in volume!

Re: Coolers for the garage
those are big enough to store a keg of "root beer" in them...
I'm just saying.. back in the college days, we found a old mini freezer you find in the asiles of supermarkets,, to store fozen pizzas and such.. pluged it in and it still worked... we stuck beer lables all over,, loaded with ice and a keg and several cans of 'refreshments" that was ICE COLD... ahhh the good old days...

Re: Coolers for the garage
Those are nice, could have some nice etching done on them. I entered a drawing at the local Hooters for a Dale Earnhardt Jr. Fridge. I won it tight after I moved to Austria so it is still in the box unused waiting for me to get home and set up my garage. Can't wait to get some cold ones in it.

Re: Coolers for the garage
Pretty "cool" coolers, but not really truck related. Moving to General Discussion.

Re: Coolers for the garage
I use old refrigerators that people are getting rid of.I was just given a stainless front side by side with a water and ice dispensor. Now I have to run a water line.I think I`ll just rig up a holding tank to fill.I don`t need either in the winter anyway. It`s nice to have the extra freezer space.
