Bumper Exhaust Cutouts
Check out the bumper of this sweet Hemi Dart. Has anyone ever done or seen this done on one of our trucks? Where the bumper has holes or notches cutout to flush mount exhaust tips?

Re: Bumper Exhaust Cutouts
It could be done but you would have to have the bumper rechromed when you had the cutouts shaped up in it.
The key woudl be shaping it so that it looked like it belonged there in the first place. |

Re: Bumper Exhaust Cutouts
Ya, something like that. I was thinking using oval tips would look good, and to use the one with the rolled edge. And it would be nice to have them fit tighter to the bumper. How would you go about cutting out the holes?

Re: Bumper Exhaust Cutouts
Those could be cut with a cutoff wheel or a plasma cutter. You might even be able to do it with a metal blade on a saw. However, the whole thought is that the bumper should be re-chromed to seal the bare metal from rust. The bumper in the picture was cut and then taken to the chrome shop.
