Nice looking truck! Somebody did a lot of work on that. That color sure is different, looks like cranberry sauce purple.

What mirrors did he use? What is the deal with the door glass...the back portion looks like it has been painted.

BTW...Beautiful truck.

the color is one of those color changing paints and has some metalic in it. kinda a fuscia at times, or burgundy or cranberry.... Dad's cousin just bought it. the guy that built it logged 490 hours in it since 1994 I think.
The top is a "superdome top" totally removable, lots of people don't like it for their own trucks, its neat and alright if you get the velcro straps sucked down tight enough to get it sealed well.
no clue on the mirrors, but I love them and the doors, no wing window isso much quieter drivng :-) yes, I got o drive that bad boy around(can you imagine seeing this 17 year old driving that?) as for the windows the door frame has been adjusted, te back pilliar is widened, thas how he did his window tracking and all from what I can see, looks neat in person.

Having done body work I'd say looking at the pictures that someone isn't telling the truth about how many hours are in that puppy. 490 hours is a just a little over a year @ 40 hrs a week. It looks more like two years to me. I think it's stunningly beautiful and very tastefully done.

and I forgot to add, the guy taht built it was bodyman by trade. and he did this in his off time, he started in '94, it was in storage from 97-2000 and then he finished it andit sold first in 2002 spring at and auction, and then my dad's cousin bought it less than a month ago.

How well does the "super dome" stay on doing 70mph with the windows down? Not my style but I can apreciate the hard work.

I would love to put one of them grills on my truck. It would hide all the rust around my headlight bezels.
Sure is a nice looking truck.
