keeping digital radio data w/ 9volt battery
Okay, I've got the plug for the cig. lighter and the 9 volt battery, but how do I plug this in. Should I plug it in with the 12 battery still connected? Or should I disconnect that first and then plug the 9v in?

You plug it in first then dissconnect the battery, that way your radio never loses power.

Just be careful not to leave a door open, trunk lid or such as not to draw current from the 9V. It will drain it quickly.
