69 c15?
Can someone educate me about the C15. I did a search and it's too short. I have a 69 C15 (didnt know they existed)... Just looked at the title. I thought it was a c10. It has a trailing arm suspension, and I believe it was a 396/Turbo400 truck. The kid I bought it from said it was all original.

Re: 69 c15?
If it was a gmc it would have been a 1500 series. The c was for 2wd.

Re: 69 c15?
Looks as if you have a hybrid...GMC and Chevy did not mix and match parts on their trucks as far as I know. Yes both may had the same engines but...the parts that were designed for GMC and those designed for Chevy...were put on their respective trucks. You would'nt have a GMC grille on a Chevy truck. Geeeeee I am getting confused.

Re: 69 c15?
possible typo? look at the attched url and decipher if its a chevy or GMC, from what i can tell GMC has a two digit model type# and chevy has 1 digit.

Re: 69 c15?
You can tell the ppl at the title place to type anything you want. So the title isn't the final word.
If it is a chevy 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, then it is a C/10 If it is a GMC 1/2 ton q wheel drive, then it is a C/1500. No mixing, no matching, no ifs ands or buts. |
