sport bumper filler panels
I am installing a sport bumper on my truck and need a picture of the filler panels or gravel deflectors installed. I picked up a set of nice NOS gravel deflctors and need to see them mounted so I know how to install them . Thanks for the help.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
They bolt on top of the bumper brace's with the flange facing up. L.M.C has a good pic. of were they go on page 23 of their catalog.....you can view it online.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
I saw these. There is a post here some where about the "gap" between the tail gate and bumper. Some peeps "mod" the brackets and some installed those filler panels. Would like to see a pic when you get those installed please.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
I tucked my bumper in to about 1/2 inch of tailgate, real tight.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
pcmcobra nice work. It really cleans it up. Did you just elongate the holes?

Re: sport bumper filler panels
I've done the same mod with my bumper brackets. The tailgate opens and shuts fine on mine. I do not have the trim pieces and they MIGHT hit the top of the bumper with the tailgate down.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
tailgate operates fine, does not even touch.
I drilled new holes for brackets.

Re: sport bumper filler panels
Thanks man. I haven't even begun to think about doing such crazy things as mounting bumpers on my ride. I think it was boat puller who said he couldn't open his gate after repositioning the rear bumper... wonder why?

Re: sport bumper filler panels
Thanks for all the replies. I may just pull the bumper in and not install the filler panels. Do you just open up the holes on the frame or brackets?
