Re: SE Missouri guys
The last time my son talked to Smitty he said he had sold his inventory to some one in St. Louis and would be closing his place down the end of the year.
It saddens me to hear of it since he was such a good resource for parts and information. If I hear any more about it I will post it. Danny

Re: SE Missouri guys
He did sell out to a guy in St Louis, I live just across the river from him. Everytime I went over to see him he would give me a tour of all the toys & their progress. I'll miss having a parts guy so close. When you bought parts there he would go to 1 of his trucks and show you exactly how to install it & problems to look for.

Re: SE Missouri guys
Did he sell all of the goodies in the barns? I would liked to have had a shot at that stuff!

Re: SE Missouri guys
The last time I talked to Smitty he said he was going to keep all his projects that are in the buildings. I have seen some of them.
I think for now his plans are to restore them and maybe sell some of them. I guess only time will tell how things turn out. My son hears from him every so often and if I hear any thing I will let you all know. Danny

Re: SE Missouri guys
I have heard of this place, and it's a downer that he decided to sell out. To bad he didn't end up selling to one of us.
I'm curious.... what kind of projects does he have in the barns? I'm looking for a new project.
