Great sound, but I have one question.... why are you tearing it apart??? That thing looks clean as he**!

By the way, be sure to keep the factory markings on the firewall, it's a great conversation piece at a show.

What are your plans?

Re: For you people who like flowmaster 40 series

i am doing the rust repair... cab corners i kicked since it had rust bubbles bigger then my fist and it exposed expanding foam that previous owner tryed to fix... 3 out of the 4 cab supports are gone..inner rockers i hit with a pick hammer to expose a rocker that looks like swiss cheese.. inner rockers are shot... nothing left of those.. and seat belt was held in by expanding foam..plan is to fix all that.. and paint the whole entire cab same colors... i already got the frame, rear end, coils, shocks, and all that under the bed all painted up black..exhaust is painted flat black with high temp paint.. so everything is black under the bed..

Re: For you people who like flowmaster 40 series

oh icic dad thought my cab was out of a junkyard or something.. and thanks about the license plate frame.. i live in salina, ks and my dad is a trucker and he wanted to go to branson, missouri for vacation two years ago.. and we went threw joplin and i got to see a few trucks and i picked up that plate and frame.. i got the chrome shop mafia gun sticker on my back window as well.. thanks guys about mufflers i stuck those on last year..took about 8 hours of layin on my back to get them done right since i saved my existing pipes and that they were rusted onto my old mufflers...

Re: For you people who like flowmaster 40 series

Nice looking truck ! Too bad you have the rust issues. It sounds real good and it would be a great idea to add headers ! She will purr even nicer. I love my Hooker Competition headers and would recommend them any day of the week. They will make your motor happy
