Re: lowering a chevy dually
a buddy of mine has a 99crewcab dually thats bagged he drives it everyday and routinely drives 4 hour round trips to pick up other trucks which he hauls on a car hauler. he said it rides good and tows good. the only recomendation he has is make sure all your ball joints are good shape.

Re: lowering a chevy dually
his frame is about 5 inches off the ground he has a lot smaller tires too. mine are 32" tall tires. i wish i had a picture of his truck but i dont, he's redoing the notch right now and putting helper bags on it. oh and he had to cut a hole in the bed floor with that kit for the pumpkin to stick through

Re: lowering a chevy dually
I used to own this Dually. It had dropped spindles, coils, and a flip kit. Bought a house and had to sell. Had to raise it back up to sell it. Still have the lowering kit laying in the garage. I made my own c-notch out of tubing and plated the frame in. I miss my ole Dually even though the paint job sucked! Michael |

Re: lowering a chevy dually
I have always liked those '85 only paint schemes. Although that isn't my first choice for colors (silver/gray with a black stripe/bed and red pin stripes) it looks pretty good.
I have never seen that on a CC before. I always wondered what they did for the the paint on the back of he cab; whether it was on the back of the cab like a regular cab or if it came up behind the front door so the back of the cab and rear doors were the secondary colors. Now I know! Quote:
