A-arm nuts- how to tighten
I have just installed an Air Ride Tech strong arms kit on my 67. The box had busted open during shipping and some of the hardware got lost. I finally got all the hardware, including the A-arm nuts. What is the proceedure for tightening the A-arm nuts, upper and lower? I have the washers and the nuts. The kit is installed and operational, just need to finish it off. Torque specs?

Re: A-arm nuts- how to tighten
The best advice i can give is call the company an ask them for specs. Sorry about the wingnuts above. Some people think its funny to a newbie to give 1 liners.

Imacarguytoo, you may want to just add to the post then move on, no need to speak or apologize for anyone else.
To the original poster, call ART they would be the experts on what is and isn't needed on their product better than anyone else. |
