Shortbed converted to step side?

is the wheel base the same length on the two trucks.
my brother wants to put a step side bed on a short bed with out any frame adjustment. its easier to get a hold of a short bed then to find a step side around here.

Thank you for your time

Re: Shortbed converted to step side?

Bolts right in...no mods. Just make sure it's set up for the fuel tank you have. Left or right or both...

When you say short bed I`m guessing your talking about a short fleetside bed right? Because a shortbed is a shortbed regardless of the bed style but both fleetside and step side will bolt up with no mods as already stated by jchav62. Are you guys removing a fleetbed? I`m looking to change my step side to a fleetside.

yes in the long run we are looking the swap a fleet side for a step side but he has to finish his blazer first and sell it first. before he can buy his truck.
