67-72 Suspension Specs
I will be replacing the rear of my 49 Chevy AD with a trailing arm suspension from a 67-72 truck. I've been searching and searching for three days and have finally decided to ask. Does anyone know where I can find drawings that show the frame and suspension and the dimensions of all of the parts?
Thanks! Last edited by caddymanwi; 12-31-2008 at 05:14 PM. Reason: accuracy |

Re: 67-72 Suspension Specs
Welcome to the board from the Heart of Arkansas!
Now, to your question: I looked in my Truck Data Book, from '69, and there are no illustrations that show what you're asking for. So, the best way is to take pix with measurements of the chassis you want to use as a donor, and then relate them to your chassis of choice. I feel that you will need the crossmember that the front of the trailing arms attaches to, so that it will fit between your rails.

Re: 67-72 Suspension Specs
Thanks for the advice. Do you think an assembly manual or a crash parts book might have what I'm looking for?
