Suspension questions
I'm gooing to be doing the frame and suspension at the end of January/ beginning of Febuary.
I am goin with a static drop,,,probably 4/6 to start with. May swap things depending on how I like the stance. After looking at the trucks on here with 4/6 I'm thinking it will be real close to what I'm looking for if not perfect. So here are the questions,,,,, BTW this is on a 70 chevy 1/2 ton lwb 1. I have an 1 1/4" sway bar in the front from a 74 3/4 ton,, will I need stands for the front sway bar or just bolt it to the frame? 2. Does anyone know the size of the various rear sway bars on chevy/ gmc trucks? I'm thinking of 1" or larger for the rear, but would like to know about all sizes if possible. I don't have a rear sway bar so any bar I use will require some fab work. 3. What is everyone using for lowered shocks? Front and rear? How do you like them?I will be doing a shock mount relocation for the rear. Would it be worth relocating the upper front shock mount and running stock shocks? 4. Just out of general curiousity,, has anyone had any issues towing a car trailer with a 6" rear lowering spring? 5. What rear notch is everyone using? Which one fits the frame the best? Bolt in or weld in its getting welded! Just want the easiest to install. I'm sure I'll think of more questions but these are the big questions I have been thinking about. Thanks guys, Frank

Re: Suspension questions
For right now I will just have the springs,,, I already have them. What about putting the bags in as helpers just for towing?
I'll have to run a couple check valves in there aswell won't I? To keep the air in one bag or the other? Shifting air from one side to the other as weight shifts isn't an option. Frank
