Re: Square body custom paint thread

Heres mine as it looks now. I have tried to keep it as close to stock as I could. My son gave me the wheels off his 89 k2500 so I used them because the old steel ones were to rusty to mess with and to expensive to replace. Other than that and the paint\body work it's box stock. Acessories installed are 2 way radio, electric brake controler and class 3 hitch. I have a 4000LB Warn winch that has to be installed above and in front of the hitch tucked under the bed. No rear bumper till the winch is in. I have about 50 pictures of how it was done as I restored it and what went into the job. It took almost 6 months to complete. If you want more pics or information e-mail me at jmcclur2@nycap.rr.com and I'll be glad to send them to you and answer any questions you might have. jim

God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

Malo. no it's not a stock paint and it definately isn't powder coated. I would have loved to be able to powder coat it but I could never afford it, LOL. Base coat is black with coats of clear the coats of heavy flake the coats of white perl and more clear. Have to wet sand it and buff it out in the spring. jim
