WIW - '71-'72 NOS Sport Mirrors

Hey guys, I have the opportunity to purchase a set of NOS sport mirrors, but I've never seen a set sell on the board. It would include the gaskets, screws, mirror base and the mirror itself.

And I know they're worth what someone is willing to pay, but I need to know if his asking price is overpriced.

What would these be worth?

Thanks!

Re: WIW - '71-'72 NOS Sport Mirrors

I would have to say $125 to $150 with the gaskets and hardware. The mirrors have been bringing $50-75 a piece on eBay in the last year.

Re: WIW - '71-'72 NOS Sport Mirrors

I saw a set go for around $200 earlier in the year on Ebay(Ya, so I over paid, but I had to have them and they are on the truck now). As with everything the prices might be down around where HOTFUN says. Do you plan on using them?

Re: WIW - '71-'72 NOS Sport Mirrors

Well... I'm not sure. I considered keeping a set just in case.

Aren't these the same as the Corvette mirrors? If so, you can buy nice ones(repops) for about $65 each. Dave's Corvette Parts, I believe.

This is the WIW (what its worth) section. This is here to find out pricing on items... Doesn't mean they are for sale.

I would say a set like that would be in the $250 range now a days.

Re: WIW - '71-'72 NOS Sport Mirrors

$250 to $350 with all the hardware if they are perfect

If I needed or wanted a complete set that is what I would pay.

Individual mirrors without hardware around $75

A set just sold on ebay for $305
