I still do my part. Ebay tach dashes

Well i've been out of the 73-87 loop for while now and still TRYING to get of stuff (parts) out of here , but i went through ebay the other day -FOR YOU GUYS-and emailed every guy mis-advertising the factory tachs. AND- just like the old days it is still only about 25% that email back and are grateful . the percentage may have went up a bit.35% ??? because I think sellers are more conscious of the new feedback system.
Since this is still a popular item i recommend you go see the info on Jeff Drews site( a member here also) . some of the info i contributed back then is a LITTLE off, but the basis of it is still on target.
Happy New year. May you all be healthy & prosper. :-) , L8r, crossy

CrawDad- Crossy's a tach dash guru and one of the earliest members of the board. I asked him about this post b/c he's had so much experience with these things.

Dave- thanks for tilling the windmills of eBuy. We gotta go junk yard shopping sometime this spring.

I'm hoping you'll be hunting for some REAL mufflers this time?
the one guy even argued stating that he knew it was a 77 he pulled the AMP gauge equipped dash from. GUESS WHAT. I never bought a 73-80 that didn't have at least 5 things wrong(changed) in it over the years and i don't even want to mention how many re-cabbed and re-vin #'d trucks i've seen.
Chevys WERE hairy chested TRUCKS and the drivetrains back then lasted through 5 major re-do's of the body.

Hey Dave, let me know what I need to change on the tach article...I'll be glad to do it.

Nice to see you around, hopefully you will keep tabs on us every now and again.

Happy new year friend.

Those headers haven't rusted through yet.

I'm planning to get a set from CptKaos w/ the Pypes RacePro muffs to go with my new 1.75 primary hedmans. Supposedly, the RacePros are quieter (and flow better) than the streets. So 'til then, my neighbors are praying for rain.

As far as boneyard picking- I'll PM you-
