a little disappointed

I was going to possibly purchase a 66 chevy 1/2 ton today but the guy won't answer his phone or return phone calls. I think I will give him til monday and then move on. I know there are plenty of other trucks out there just got to find em. I'm not sure why people place ads for cars and then don't follow through when someone wants to buy them If he sold it or changed his mind letting me know would have been nice sigh lol Jeremy

Jeremy:

Welcome to the forums from Kansas City, KS. I am hopeful you are able to snag the '66. Be polite and persistent and you never know, he may be busy or out of town for the holidays.

Take care and let us know what happens.

Re: a little disappointed

Common courtesy is a oxymoron.

I've had similar experiences.

Best of luck.

Re: a little disappointed

Almost as bad as people trolling the market with "BEST OFFER"!!?....just tell me what your wanting for the darn thing...
If the ad has a view sellers other items, I usually check them to see if they think thier garbage is worth gold
btw, looks like a pretty straight truck

Re: a little disappointed

Keep the faith and keep calling. If you are persistent and become a nuisance, the owner may tell you to come and get it. Good luck.
