Something that I over looked!!!!

Just had a thought as I need new floormats for sylvester. It is so funny I have so much stupid money in these bucket but yet I have $5.00 clear mats in it, what it is even funnier is that my wife pointed it out to me last night as I brought sylvester home and I was showing my freshly cut dash with my new radio in there and the wheels she bought me for christmas.

so how about a pict of what floormats you are using?

I think that I want some of the old traditional looking one like
"The Heartbeat of America" of with the "Bowtie Logo"

if your trucks name is Sylvester why not use some looney tune theme ones. you can kill two birds with one stone looney tunes for the addiction to a truck and the cat for the namesake

Re: Something that I over looked!!!!

I have the ones you are speaking of, had them in daily driver trucks (from truck to truck to truck) since 97 minus one year od cruising in a town car.... and they are just now starting to shoe there age.
While I think personally the whole heartbeat thing was stupid, and it doesn't match the generation of our trucks, they are well worth the $$ you'll spend.

Re: Something that I over looked!!!!

How about a picture of your interior so we can see what would look good with what you have? I personally like the mats that came in 90's Chevys, nice, clean and simple. They also stay where you put them because of the knobs on the back and they don’t bunch up under your foot like the cloth ones. Plus they are easy to clean.

I am not a fan of floor mats that have a lot of design to them; the most I like is a simple bowtie. Anything more than that seems to busy and distracting to the class of out spartan interiors to me. I really don’t like the ones with all of the deep ridges, you get crap down in them and it is a pane to keep them clean. Well that is my $0.02.

Re: Something that I over looked!!!!

I have just plain black ones - but on the driver's side it slips around real bad. I'm gonna have to figure out a way to hold it in place, because of the rubber/vinyl spot on the carpet where you put your feet.

the ones in the photo above are what I've had for 12 years. Like i said, theya re starting to get ugly, but still work gread, they don't move on the carpet in the burb, heck, they hardly moved on the vinal floor in the longhorn. But, they are ugly.

Re: Something that I over looked!!!!

I've always liked these. They're black with a gold bowtie outline on the outer edge. You might see something else you like better.
