Compressor for air tank leaking?

My air compressor for my air ride system is leaking out of the filter, I guess the internal check valve in the compressor itself is shot. Was wondering does anyone know where I can get a check valve that will screw into the air compressor and then screw the filter into it? The compressor works very well and this model does not have any rebuildable components. Would a local hardware store like ACE Hardware probably carry something like this? I really dont want to shell out the cash for a brand new air compressor, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Michael Hill.

Re: Compressor for air tank leaking?

I'm going to take a guess and say you have a viair compressor. The check valves on them are very well known to leak. Viair has recently come out with an updated leader hose with built in check valve. You may want to call them.
