Re: Pink Dually of Death
I remember seeing this rig on the FSC forum a few years back of when the PO bought it. Apparently his big plans to fix it up never panned out. Good luck with the build.

Looks like it will be a real neck-breaker. I think just to be even more badass, you should do a candy pink paint scheme!

Re: Pink Dually of Death
On the semi wheels the back you will have to widen the flares or run a super single.i think http://www.duallyfendersusa.com/ has wider flares.

Re: Pink Dually of Death
lol no thanks on them fenders they are horrible.. all they do is add a fender flare to the outside of the fenders lip... my rear end will be the same as a cab & chassis rear.. and the tires on them i can tuck both m 24's under the srw bed

Re: Pink Dually of Death
I hope its not dead. It looked like it was going to be a cool build. The OP is online. Maybe we can get an update.

Re: Pink Dually of Death
no the ting isn't dead just hacked to ****.... i figured that since i was working so much i would take it to a place and have them build it in a reasonable amount of time... well turns into a year or deal and i start harping on the shop owner he just throws the back half together.. needless to say ill be redoing the back half of the truck starting this weekend once it dries up from all this rain.. trucks not dead just been on another persons time.. now its on mine.. cab will be pulled off this week some time along with the 2x4x1/4" tube to redo the backhalf...
can you say not centered ill be using maybe the lower link bars if they are even the same length.... everything else with be scrapped or used as other parts if i can find anything actually useable it looks as if a 5 year old welded on it.... i can lay jb weld down better than what he did Last edited by Str8Ugly; 09-15-2009 at 11:53 AM. |

Re: Pink Dually of Death
The shop that was building it didnt do it the way he wanted.
He picked the truck up and will be redoing it himself. They messed up quite a few things frame and bedwise. Its a shame. *** wow I was checking up on dfwminis when you were doing the above.*** Last edited by camaro__thunder; 09-15-2009 at 12:01 PM. |

Re: Pink Dually of Death
If you can pay a shop to do it, I'd love to see what Hills Hotrods could do with it. Looks like a killer project. Sorry to hear the shop it was at hacked it up so bad.

Re: Pink Dually of Death
You scrapping the entire back half? From the pics it looks like much of it could be saved.
