Re: where are all the 71-72 supers hiding?

im cutting up a pretty nice 72 super long bed right now. it had all the options cruise, extra tanks, air, everything but a tach. all it needed was rockers and cab corners and a dent takin out of the cab by the back glass. was actually nicer than the truck im re-doing. but the one im working on used to be my dads, so im just trying to keep it alive.

Re: where are all the 71-72 supers hiding?

It seems like most of the Supers on ebay are fakes that I've seen in the past few years, petey pablo has a post on here about someone he knows in Cali selling two of them.

The one in his thread is identical to mine, but in a little better shape.

I just realized this thread is kind of a want to buy thread so it might get locked since you're not a sight supporter.

As long as we keep it "Where to buy" your ok but once it turns into a "WTB" (wanted to buy)...the line has been crossed according to the rules. Its getting close.

Re: where are all the 71-72 supers hiding?

I would look ebay, Classic Car Mag., CL, and Truck Trader, which is how I found my 70cst BB back in 2000. Keep an eye on the Trucks for Sale forum on this site. These are places I would look for another Super. Then again...if you have deep pockets...go Barret Jackson. Good Luck

Re: where are all the 71-72 supers hiding?

We're still kickin up dust and causing trouble brother!!

I've got three of these old trucks now and the only one I seldom drive is that old green and white K10. You wouldn't want it...It's not a Cheyenne and the transmission isn't an auto.

I'm sure one will turn up on your side of the country that will suit your needs. Just take your time.
