steering column

well i finally got my truck running great. now thanks to some low life scum of the earth i need a new steering column. and i have a few questions.
1. were can i get the parts that are broken in my column to fix it. (i know
they are out there because i here and read of people rebuilding them)

2. does anybody have a tilt, cruse column around north mississippi for sale.
(i went to all the salvage yard saturday and no one has one, and all the
pull a part yards the columns where busted like mine)

3..does anybody know of a trustworthy person to rebuild a column around
north mississippi or east tennessee?

thanks

Re: steering column

There is a guy who rebuilds them and sells then on ebay. I think he wants around 225.00 for a rebuilt column.

This site has pretty much any part you may need. Note: Special tools required to perform rebuild. I believe there is a link in here somewhere to walk you through the process. Good Luck.

I think N2TRUX said he got his columns from this guy, and recommended him, but I'm not sure. I'll wait to see what everyone recommends sice I am in the market for a rebuilt column.
