Re: Post your lowered/slammed 67-72's

Thanks guys..the front suspension has 2in drop spindles and airbags on a 1 1/2 in cup on the lower control arm. The rear i have stoppers to the axle only hits the bed and not more. If i go lower i will have to c-notch the chassis and cut the bed. I have the wood so i didnt want that. The wheels are 20 by 10s all the way around. the front has a 3 in and the rear has a 5 inch lip. clears perfect.

Are you running a compressor and tank or just bags with schrader valves?

Your truck is sweet by the way...

Re: Post your lowered/slammed 67-72's

I did it long time ago and they are road grimey . Someone on here has posted a much easier way to so it than me . I cut the origional ones and reused the pocket forming new metal around it. You should be able to do it with a large piece of pipe and a flat plate hopefully someone will chime in here . I don't have any pics of them or I would post them up . I also cut the coils despite what some people think it works good and rides better than it did at stock height. Bob
