gear indicator adjustment
I have a 72 Chevy with a tilt steering wheel column. Automatic 350 transmission and I replaced the bottom grommet on the transmission shifter linkage yesterday thinking that would correct the shifter dial and make it line up on the steering column.
I can put it in park but when I take it out of park it goes to neutral for reverse and 2nd for first. Is there a linkage adjustment I am not aware of so I can make it line correctly? |

Re: gear indicator adjustment
Not real sure but I think you will have to rotate the column to the left and this will also require you to readjust your neutral safety switch which is PIA. Someone may diff. I left mine be for that way for that reason.
