Help with converting long pump accessory setup to short pump.
I have a 73 -up BB motor with all the long pump accessories in my 72. I am wanting to convert to a short pump with the alternator on the driver side. I know this will require a short pump with short accessories. Will I have to change the power steering and crank pulley also? What all am I looking at to fully swap over? I will be installing a vintage air kit before summer hits, and I would like the compressor to be mounted on the passenger side. It just looks much cleaner to me.
thanks. |

I would suggest getting all of the parts as the ones you have will need to be replaced.
Here is a link to a post on the parts board where the parts you need are for sale. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=326543 Jim
