Door hinge panel rusted on doors

Both of my doors are CHERRY except for behind the upper hinges. Its rusting so bad its seperating and cracking/tearing. I cant find patch panels, has anyone else dealt with this? Since it's such a sensative area as far as adjustment, I was planning on just buying new replacements but I've heard nothing but bad things about them...

This is a TEXAS truck. Nobody, even up north has had this problem?

You will have to make your own or rob off of a donor. No one mfg's them
