heater box?
Can you take the fiberglass box off the firewall and keep the heater and blower fan? My a/c was destroyed by the previous owner and I am just going to take it out for now. I was just going to remove all the a/c parts and block off the firewall.

The heater core is housed inside of that box, it also houses the blower fan. The blower fan blows air through the heater core to heat the air... so I'd have to say no as it is. I've never looked for one, but I'm sure someone sells an aftermarket heat system that mounts under the dash.

they sell an ac delete outer box that replaces orig. and mantains heater. truckshop sells them board vendors may have them also
