more Early Classic Enterp. props!
I made an online order for some brackets to mount my sway bar tonight (after business hours). About an hour later Mark from ece called me and asked me if I was sure I needed the brackets for a lowered truck. I had ordered the lowered ones instead of what I needed. The new brackets I needed were much more expensive than the ones that I ordered. He was totally cool and helpful and changed my order to include good used original front mounts for the same price!
First time I have ordered from them, I am impressed, and now they have my business for sure!

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I remember on one of my orders ( I ordered ALOT of stuff from them), I placed the order online and 5 minutes later Mark called me to make sure that the order was correct AND asked me how I liked the other stuff I ordered just a week prior. Top notch company and the very rare customer service who CARES about their customers!

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I see people complain about ECE's prices sometimes, but with customer service like they have, I don't mind paying a little extra.

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I just ordered their extreme drop crossmember and the sanderson ceramic coated shorty headers last week. Should be here this week. I can't wait to see those headers, they look great on the website!

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I've also recently had a call from Stan about my ECE order. Really cool guy to deal with,... I'm trying to get him to be a member here.
Maybe if we all ask them about joining, (every time we place an order) they'll sign up as a board vendor. Are you listening Stan or Mark?

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I ordered the Extreme Drop Cross member and two sets of axle saddles, I got a call the next morning stating that the axle saddles were being made but would be delayed. I told them they could wait and ship it all together, but they went ahead and shipped the cross member anyway! I know shipping on the axle saddles was only a small amount, but I appreciated having the parts. Having ordered form other sources, some don't even call when items are back ordered, let alone ship what they do have. I see myself going back to them over and over..

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
man this is funny, i just opened my super trac bar kit and they forgot the passenger side hanger for the bar. i am sure they will take care of me on the missing parts, but they have been great in every shape and form to me. prices are good in my opinion.

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
They do take care of their customers. I ordered axles for what I thought was a 67 rearend, since it was in a 67 it had to be a 67 rear right? Well I was wrong. I sent the first set of axles back to them and Stan had the new axles drop-shipped to me and didn't charge a dime for shipping on the second set. My screwup and he took care of me. Great company and super nice guys.

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
Personally, my experience with them hasn't really been all that great. Little and not so little issues that have all been resolved.
However, I do continue to do business with them, and from gauging the opinion of this site, I'm sure my experiences are just a fluke. |

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I buy from several vendors, but I do have to give ECE their props. Stan talked me through replacing my front coils springs over the phone a few years back. Made sure I did it safely.

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I haven't started my 67, but I have ordered parts for my 72. I had replaced the cab from a 3/4 ton onto my 1/2 ton, and when I ordered large hump carpet they ? me about it promply. That was cool to me because I thought to myself these guys are sharpe. They will get more business from me in the near future! oldno7

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I ordered a LS1 motor mount kit for my 67 GMC from them and Mark said they were out of the frame mounts But they were due in the next day. He told me that they get one of them bare metal and send them to a powder coater and that would take an extra week. I was in a hurry and he offered to send them as is and discount the powder coating, I said fine and recieved them normal shipping time. When I tried to install them they did not fit. I called them back and Stan answered the phone and I told him my problem. He said you have a 67 and the frame has to be trimmed 3/8ths of an inch on a 67. I trimmed the frame and they fit perfectly!! I cannot say enough about their customer service and prompt delivery. Their prices are as good as anyone but I would pay more just because of the service. Stan told me that they all live and drive 67-72 Chevy pickups!

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I totally agree. Since I live fairly close, a buddy of mine got a chance to visit their store. They are a bunch of great guys that just like to talk about trucks as much as sell us parts for them!

Re: more Early Chevy Enterp. props!
I've installed their drop spindles and lowering parts on several trucks and never had a problem. I had some of their LED taillights that went south and they made them up no problem.
I've always assumed that the reason we didn't see them advertising here was basicly due to them not needing to. I'm not saying that in a bad way, it's just that they're usually on the top of the list when someone starts a post asking where they should buy their parts from. I'd love to see em on board! |
