Re: tilt front

creative glas onida tennesse makes one but they are not cheep and the quality is not that great, and at least shipping wont cost you as much as it did to get mine delivered to CA.when I re-do mine I'm gonna go back to metal so i don't have to build a frame under it.I have seen a company in southern CA. that makes glass everything! cab,one piece bed w/feners,steps,and tubs, and one piece doors that accept all original windows and such.good luck and post some pics of it if you decide to do it.

Re: tilt front

US Body source makes quite abit of stuff for these trucks. I have never heard anything bad about them other than being expensive.

Re: tilt front

You can do it with a metal front end. The hinge and mounting the radiator from the core support are the hard parts. I made a hinge from two pieces of C channel back to back ][ with a 1" pipe welded to the bottom.I then put it into the frame and after I tack welded it I cut the frame into allowing the whole nose to tilt.I reinforced the core support. Innerfinders are ***** and have to be cut so they clear steering and other issues.Ive seen zues fitting used to hold things together but I made a male/female end caps and then used hood racing pins by the cowl to keep thing shut.
